These babies are fathered by an Opal Legbar Cockbird.  They will make Opal Legbars when paired with an Opal male or split to Opal male.
Opal Legbar chicks are a recently developed, auto-sexing variety of the Legbar chicken, distinguished by their beautiful lavender or barred-lavender plumage and a distinctive feathered crest. They are known for laying a large number of large, sky-blue eggs, and exhibit a friendly, docile temperament. The "opal" color comes from the addition of a dilute gene, resulting in the muted lavender and pearl gray feathering.
